Dear Families,

In response to recent guidance from the Governor, the California Department of Education, health officials and school boards, we have determined that an extension of the COVID-19 closure of our school is necessary through the end of the year.

A COVID-19 school closure provides the necessary legal flexibility to address school-provided services and extenuating circumstances for students, families, and staff, as we manage illness, navigate changed households, and face other challenges that may arise. Despite the closure, our unique educational model allows us to continue teaching our students remotely. Teachers will continue to use the platform we started using on March 16, 2020 to teach our students remotely.

During the closure, we continue to plan and prepare for the 2020-2021 school year:

Feel free to email us if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Jodiann Beeson
TCS High School Principal

Dear Families,

COVID-19 has dramatically altered life for all of us in California. During this time of crisis, it is our top priority to keep our students, staff, and family members safe. In response to recent guidance from the Governor, the California Department of Education, health officials and school boards, we have determined that an extension of the temporary COVID-19 closure of our school is necessary from March 20, 2020, through April 20, 2020.

A temporary COVID-19 school closure provides the necessary legal flexibility to address school-provided services and extenuating circumstances for students, families, and staff, as we manage illness, navigate changed households, and face other challenges that may arise. Despite the closure, our unique educational model allows us to continue teaching our students remotely. Teachers will continue to use the platform we started using on March 16, 2020 to teach our students remotely.

During the closure, we continue to plan and prepare for the 2020-2021 school year:

In the event that we need to extend the closure past April 20, 2020, we will communicate with staff and families. Please take care of yourselves and your family and feel free to email us if you have any questions.

Thank you,
